Crypto.com, one of the world's leading cryptocurrency platforms, has officially received a license to provide digital asset services in the United Arab Emirates, marking an important step for the development of the crypto industry in the region. With approval from Dubai's Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA), the company can now offer its services to both private clients and government agencies, including conducting crypto payments for government services.

Obtaining this license allows Crypto.com to integrate cryptocurrency payments into Dubai's government services infrastructure, further digitalizing the emirate's economy. The introduction of crypto payments is expected to increase the transparency and efficiency of financial transactions, as well as simplify access to government services for citizens and businesses.

According to VARA, in 2025 the volume of transactions with digital assets in the UAE may exceed $100 billion, and the number of users of cryptocurrency services has already exceeded 1.5 million people. Crypto.com plans to utilize its expertise and technology solutions to support the growing market needs and ensure user security.

The move confirms Dubai's leadership in financial innovation and underscores the emirate's ambition to become a global hub for digital assets. Crypto.com intends to actively collaborate with local governments to further develop the digital financial services ecosystem.
